Conrad takes stock of disaster response preparedness

Shillong, March 30: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma on Friday took stock of the situation in the wake of severe rain and hailstorm in different parts of the State.

Sangma spoke to DCs of several districts to get first- hand information of the situation and asked the Disaster Magement and Revenue Department to assess the entire situation.

“All possible measures will be taken to provide relief to the affected families,” the Chief Minister said.

The Chief Minister has directed the Chief Secretary and Additiol Chief Secretary Revenue and Disaster Magement to immediately submit a report.
