Constitution Day observed

BILASIPARA, Nov 26: Under the aegis of Bilasipara Subdivisiol Public Library and in association with the Bilasipara Senior Citizens Forum, the Constitution Day was observed at Bilasipara on Sunday in the premises of the Bilasipara Subdivisiol Public Library.

In this connection, a semir was held with Jagadanda Barkalita, advocate, as moderator. Kalyan Chakraborty, secretary of Bilasipara Senior Citizens Forum, explained the aims objectives of the semir. Dayal Paul, Purandar th, Gopal Das and Kalyan Chakraborty spoke in the semir as resource persons. Yousuf Ali Ahmed, former MLA, Noor Mohammad, Amulya Karmaker, Jogesh th, Aksed Ali and Harilal Saha also addressed the semir.

Noted artiste of Goalparia folk song, Abdul Karim Khan sang a self-composed song on Dr. BR Ambedkar while Dayal Paul offered the vote of thanks.
