Constitution Day observed

BILASIPARA, Nov 27: Under the aegis of Bilasipara civil administration in collaboration with Sapatgram College, Constitution Day was observed at Sapatgram in the premises of Sapatgram College on Sunday with a day-long programme. In this connection a meeting was held with RP Singh, Principal of Sapatgram College, in the chair. Press advisor to the Chief Minister of Assam, Hrishikesh Goswami attended the programme as chief guest. Dr MS Lakhipriya, SDO (Civil), Bilasipara, lit the ceremonial lamp. Asok Kumar Singhi, MLA, Bilasipara East LAC, SDO (Civil), Bilasipara, social worker resh Lawa and turalist Parimal Kumar Das addressed the meeting.

Chairperson of Sapatgram Town Committee Miti Sarker,  and many other distinguished persolities were present in the meeting. Gunja Ganguli sang a few songs in her melodious voice while Rajib Das presented kathak dance. Dr MS Lakhipriya released the theme song of third Gunotsav. Manoj Kumar Phukan, Block Elementary Education Officer, Bilasipara, anchored the programme.
