Construction work of public cremation ground begins

mrup, Aug 8: The ceremonial iuguration of the construction work of a public cremation ground was held at Lalpagurighat, mrup under the auspices of mrup Town Committee on Monday. Rameswar Teli, MP, 13 Dibrugarh HPC, iugurated the construction work of the public cremation ground as per Vedic rituals. A vehicle service for transporting bodies med Swargarath was also iugurated for the first time in mrup. Dignitaries including Bipul Deka, vice-chairman, APL, Asif Ahmed, DSP, mrup, Ranjit Baruah, state executive member, BJP, and Nitu Sonowal Buragohain, chairman, NTC were present during the formal start of the construction work.
