Consumption of BCPL products in NE itself emphasized

Dibrugarh, August 12: An awareness programme on the theme ‘Entrepreneurship Development for Downstream Industries of BCPL Products in surrounding areas’ was organized on Tuesday at District Library Auditorium.

The programme was graced by Deputy Commissioner MS Manivann , Additiol Deputy Commissioner HK Das, Director of Fince, BCPL, OPTailor, General Mager (HR), PK Mati, Maging Director AIDC, PK Saikia , General Mager, DIC, R.Lagasu, Rajeev Das from CIPET, Ravindra Agarwal from NEDFI and representatives from various banks. The programme was attended by nearly 250 representatives of various student/local organizations.

Addressing  the gathering, the resource persons emphasized the consumption of the end-products of BCPL within Northeast itself with a view to develop the industrial scerio and as well as uplift the economy of this region. The respective institutions assured to all the interested entrepreneurs with necessary facilities for setting up of downstream industries using the polymers of BCPL. The presentations of various institutions were followed by an interactive session in which the audience actively participated.
