Contractual laboratory workers stage protest

harkatia, Dec 2: The contractual laboratory staff & Swach Bharat Mission (Gramin) workers in Dibrugarh region have expressed grave concern over the non-receipt of their remuneration for the last four month from August. These workers have been rendering dedicated services in various sectors in Dibrugarh district. Demanding the immediate release of their remuneration, all the Laboratory Staff & SDM (G) workers, staged a sit in demonstration on Wednesday. Sources revealed that they also submitted a memorandum earlier on November 28 to the Member Secretary, DWSU cum Executive Engineer (PHE) in connection with the issue.
