Contribution of ndalal Borgohain recalled

Dibrugarh, Oct 26: “ndalal Borgohain was an institution rather than an individual. His contribution as an educationist, sports organizer and social activist towards the society will remain forever and inspire the new generation,” stated tiol Award winner, noted educationist and well-known columnist Gandheswar Saikia while addressing the meeting organized by the ndalal Borgohain Memorial Trust at the auditorium of City College on Wednesday.

Saikia, during his brief deliberation, hoped that the trust would continue its efforts in fulfilling the dream of Borgohain, founder of City College. Speakers, including Principal of Dibru College, Dr. Paresh Baruah, former Principal of Dibru College, Jyoti Borgohain, noted lyricist and musician, Ram Sasoni, and educationist Samiran Das, in their respective speeches, recalled the life and works of Borgohain. Earlier, the Principal of City College, Dr. Sanjibanda Borgohain welcomed the guests and others.
