Contributions of Kalaguru recalled

Dhekiajuli , June 20: Kalaguru Bishnu Prasad Rabha  Divas was observed at the  Bargaon harbari College campus under the aegis of Dhekiajuli  Mahakuma garik Moncha and in cooperation with the Borsola Samasti garik Moncha   to commemorate the great leader of Assam.

The event was presided over by Khagendra th Sharma, president, Dhekiajuli Samasti garik Moncha.  The  chief guest of the event, rendra th Haloi  in his speech said that Kalaguru Bishnu Prasad Rabha was a revolutiory figure, a poet, a writer and a great classical icon of Assam and compared this great scholar to Mahapurush Srimanta Sankardev.  Gabinda Kalita, retired  Principal, Prajapita HS School in his maiden speech said that Kalaguru always thought about the poor and down-trodden people of our society. Surendra Khol, the Principal of Bargaon harbari Degree College also participated in the programme. Several distinguished persolities attended the programme like Nilakanta Kalita, general secretary , All Assam garik Moncha, Prafulla Das, retired forest officer and Pinku Muktiar, researcher.
