Control traffic srl: AACWA to Government

From Our Correspondent
Itagar, June 13: The All Aruchal Contractors Welfare Association (AACWA) has urged the state government to implore necessary roads in the twin capital cities to avoid traffic congestion. The association in a statement today said that the city with less population in comparison to other cities of the country, is suffering from traffic jam due to lack of proper road planning which is the only reason for traffic jam. The AACWA also expressed surprise over the PWD Minister who did not make any single statement about the traffic problem in the capital complex. “Many flyovers and bye-pass roads have been under construction in the neighbouring state but the state government failed to take up such projects in the capital,” the association alleged. It said, necessary funds were sanctioned for restoration, repairing and mMaintence including blacktopping and carpeting of tiol highway from Itagar to Banderdewa but due to careless supervising by the Executive Engineer (Highway) hrlagun division, big potholes raised in the middle position and side portion of the road at many points. The AACWA urged the concerned department to rectify the damage points at the earliest.
