Cooperative society formed

Donkamokam, January 19: The 10–member Hinchong District Level Multipurpose Industrial Co–operative Society Ltd was formed with Bimala Timungpi as chairperson and Joysing Terang as general secretary at Tengkeralangso near Donkamokam on Monday.

Tazul Islam, SRCF, Senior Inspector Mridul Kalita and many others attended the meeting. The resource persons in the meet stressed the need for the cooperative society, saying that development will take place at a fast pace if the society works collectively.  Besides, the socio–economic condition of rural people will be improved.
