CoSAAP demands transfer of fince secretary

ITAGAR, March 19: Condemning the ‘unethical behavior and humiliation’ meted to the officers and officials of Fince department by fince secretary Dr BM Mishra, the Confederation of Service Associations of Aruchal Pradesh (CoSAAP) has demanded his immediate transfer.

CoSAAP in a memorandum submitted to chief minister today alleged that Mishra has created unhealthy working environment in the department and is mentally torturing staffs of the department on daily basis in the form of verbal abuse. It added that files are not sent to the higher authorities and being sent back to branches with unnecessary queries and that because of such attitude, the deputy secretary (Budget) was compelled to tender resigtion on March 11 last.

Meanwhile, CoSAAP reiterated that the matter pertaining to Officiating, Functiol and out of turn promotion was not discussed during the interaction meeting with governor on February 5 last.

It clarified that the discussions were only focused on vexed issues of CoSAAP which includes implementation of FR 56 pertaining to retirement age in government job, withdrawal of No objection Certificate (NOC) system in matters of promotion and retirement, grant of Transport Allowance as per 6th CPC recommendation, Grant of Children Education Allowance, and to extend five other facilities like LTC, Medical Attendance Rules etc.
