CoSAAP threatens stir

Itagar, June 22: The central executive committee of Confederation of Services Association of Aruchal Pradesh (CoSAAP) in its meeting has threatened to continue with its non-cooperation movement in the state from June 28 next if the state government fails to honour its three-point demands before June 27.
The confederation while expressing resentment over the government’s apathy over its demands including implementation of FR-56, pertaining to minimum retirement age at 60 years, modification of NOC system as per the suggestion of chief secretary in a meeting held on October 25, 2016 and implementation of medical attendance Rule in first phase.
The CoSAAP in a statement today informed that as per the modus operandi of the non-cooperation movement, employees would attend to their respective offices and work places and put their attendance but would not discharge duties during office hours.
However, employees working in milk van, water supply, electricity supply, doctors & Nurses in hospitals, Aruchal Pradesh State Transport Services, magistrates on duty, sanitation, fire brigades, IPR, veteriry hospitals, police and para military forces and civil aviation would be exempted from the purview of the agitation.
Drivers would attend their duties of picking and dropping of VVIP/VIP, officers, officials from home to office and back but would not perform duties during office hours, the statement added.
