Cost Accountants of India institute formed

Dibrugarh, April 21 : With the continuous effort by the members of certified Magement Accountants (CMA) in and  around Duliajan and generous support from the Duliajan Chapter of Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI) institute  was formed and notified with effect from  March 21 this year. The chapter was iugurated on March 25 by the Maging Director, Assam Gas Company Limited, Duliajan, CMA Aditya Kumar Sharma. Duliajan Chapter is the 3rd Chapter in the entire North East and second in Assam after Guwahati chapter. In the first emergent meeting of the members  held at  Duliajan, CMA Sanjay Choudhuri, GM (Accounting Policy), Oil India Limited was elected as founder Chairman, CMA Sarat Patra, Sr Mager (Fince) NEEPCO as Vice Chairman, CMA Goutam Maji as Secretary, CMA Jugal Kishore Mallik as Treasurer and CMA C. Pal, ED (F&A), Oil India Limited & CMA Aditya Kumar Sharma as member-Advisor. Kumari Kaveri Phukan was nomited as student-member representative in the magement committee.

The aim of the Chapter is to serve the students residing in and around Duliajan. Chapter will take care of the members, students & society at large by imparting oral coaching, conducting examitions, organizing semirs, conferences, lectures, etc round the year, an OIL  press Communique stated.
