Country liquor seized

NONGSTOIN, Aug 24: Nongstoin Police on Wednesday seized over a hundred litres of local Khasi made liquors, belonging to one Wanbor Kurbah of Lyngwa Village East Khasi Hills. Sources informed that the local liquors seized with the help of the Village Defense Party (VDP) Domkohmen village West Khasi Hills. Police also apprehended Wanbor Kurbah (32) and Sohthing Ja (40) along with the local cab ML 05 M 2925 indulging in transporting liquor from Lyngwa Village Sihiong.
