Country liquor shops set ablaze in Pathsala

PATHSALA, May 8: A group of local women came out of their homes on Saturday evening and

vandalized a few country liquor shops in Pathsala.

For long people have been complaining against the country liquor business beside the railway station. Initially, a few of the illegal traders tried to resist to women. But they fled filly in the face of the fierce mob which set the shops on fire. Notably, there has been a steep rise in the number of illicit liquor traders in and around Pathsala since the last couple of months.
