TANGLA, Aug 7: The carcass of a cow has been lying by the side of the road in Tangla-Bhergaon road of Tangla town since the past two days and yet no one has come forward to dispose off the carcass in a proper manner. “The foul smell from the carcass is getting stronger. We have complained to the Tangla Town Committee which has sweepers and tractors to dispose off the carcass. Yet, no action has been taken,” said a shopkeeper whose store is near the spot where the carcass is lying uttended. Conscious people have opined that this goes on to show how totally idequate Tangla town committee’s cleaning arrangements are. Talking to this correspondent, Sanjay Sen, vice-chairman of Tangla Town Committee, said due to lack of sweepers the carcass was lying by the side of the road.
