CP Joshi visits Haflong

HAFLONG, June 13 : AICC general secretary and in-charge of Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) Dr C P Joshi along with Assam Congress chief Anjan Dutta and MP Susmita Deb, minister Ajit Singh, visited Haflong today while returning from southern Assam to Guwahati.

Joshi held a meeting with the congress workers of Dima Hasao at Rajiv Bhawan where in Chief Executive Member, NCHAC, Debojeet Thaosen along with all the executive members took part.

Dr Joshi addressing a press meet at the Haflong Circuit house explaining the aims and objective of his visit and that rendra Modi led BJP Government in the Centre is depriving the people of this area by scrapping the special category status of the State. Joshi said that he would raise voice against the decision of the government.

APCC president Anjan Dutta said that congress will form the government in Assam again in 2016.

The people have already realized how the Modi government betrayed them now the people of Assam have expressed their full faith on Congress. The Modi government has completely failed to fulfill its promises made before the elections.
