Cracking civil service examition is not a hard task'

DIBRUGARH, July 22: Attending the valedictory session of the DHSK College summer crash course, 2016, which was held on July 19, the DIO of the tiol Informatics Center, Dibrugarh, Deep Kamal Gohain, stated that achievement in civil service examition is not a hard task if one prepares in a focused and systematic manner. The course was held from July 6 to July 19.

Gohain said that civil service examition can also be appeared in any vercular language, which is enlisted in the Indian constitution and in the state of Assam, but it is not known to many civil service aspirants.

Unfortutely, this is still a decisive factor since there are scores of students for whom, writing the examition in English is a difficult task, stated Gohain.

Citing various examples of IAS officers from other parts of the state, who appeared in the civil service examition in their vercular languages, Gohain said, “Due to lack of awareness about it, the numbers of such IAS officers are very few in the state of Assam.”

He also dwelt in details on the preparation procedures of the examition and provided useful tips to the course participants.

The meeting was presided over by the principal of DHSK College, Dr. Sasi Kanta Saikia who in his address said that the college administration is sincerely trying to extend coaching on an ongoing basis to the aspiring candidates of various competitive examitions.

The session was also attended by Retired IPS officer,Praffulla Senchowa and LIC Officials, Bi Dutta, Professor of Dibrugarh University, Surajit Borkotoky who later distributed certificates to the students.

The course coorditor Dr Bhaskar Das said that the information and career guidance cell of the college, will organize similar programme in the future for the Civil Service Aspirants.
