Create Bodoland, save our identity: ABSU

UDALGURI, July 15: ‘Create Bodoland, save tribal belt and blocks, identity and culture of Bodos,’ appealed the ABSU to the Prime Minister by sending him post cards.

The Udalguri district committee ABSU has sent 19,000 post cards from 21 post offices of Udalguri district as a symbolic movement for separate state of Bodoland.  Amidst a ceremonial programme of sending post cards, Rinjay Boro, Udalguri district ABSU president, Prodeep Kumar Daimary, former MCLA and president UDPF and Dipen Boro, vice-president of ABSU among others were present the at Udalguri post office on Wednesday.
