Creche and crematorium workers felicitated

SHILLONG, Sept 18: 49 Crèche and Crematorium workers were felicitated on Saturday, at the Society Organized Felicitation programme.

The workers were felicitated in recognition of their sincere and dedicated novel services rendered by them towards the welfare of babies, children and public in general as well.

All the awardees were presented with certificates, citations and gift hampers as a token of love, honor and inspiration for their dedication in novel service.

The winners of Novel Service Award Trophies 2016, for successfully running the crèche include, Seng Treilang ki Kynthei (STKK), Madan Laban and Riat Laban, Miat social and cultural education welfare organization, Upper Lumparing, Lumparing Social and Cultural Club , Lower Lumparing and Seng Teilang Ki Kynthei Laban.

The chief guest of the function Sanbor Shullai-MLA, lauded the effort placed by the members of the above organizations and encouraged them to march forward in their endeavoring works for the welfare of the people at large.

He further announced to provide all awardees with fixed deposits social service scheme in order to support their future livelihood.
