CRPC expresses grief over Santosh Mohan Dev's demise

Silchar, Aug 4: The demise of veteran Congress leader, Santosh Mohan Dev has sent waves of shocks. Citizens&rsquo; Rights Preservation Committee (CRPC), Assam condoled the death of former Union minister, who breathed his last at 6.06 am at a private nursing home at Silchar on last Wednesday following a prolonged illness. He was an iconic and charismatic figure, a man of dymic and colourful persolity. CRPC has stated that it is an irreparable loss. Hafiz Rashid Ahmed Choudhury, chief advisor, Nripendra Chandra Saha, president and Bidhayak Das Purkayastha, general secretary of CRPC, Assam expressed their grief.<br />

&nbsp;The members of CRPC have stated that with the death of Santash Mohan Dev an era of dymic politics has come to a standstill. People of this country in general and Barak Valley and Assam in particular will remember him for his service and contribution to the humankind. The leaders of CRPC, Assam, extended their sympathy to the bereaved family members and prayed for his eterl bliss in solitude.</p>
