CRPF celebrates raising day

Guwahati, April 3:  The 28 Bn of CRPF celebrated its raising day with great pomp and spirit at IOC complex in Noonmati here, a press release said. 
Surjit Kr Atri, Comrndant-128 Bn of CRCF paid tribute to martyr’s of the Unit followed by flag hoisting ceremony of Quarter Guard where he was accompanied by officers of the Unit Arvind P Aand, Raju Kumar Singh D/C, Yamini Kunwar Bhati ‘C, Orn Kumar Gupta A/C, ShVIshal Dhimañ AC, Annurudi Pratap AC, Mukesh Kumar A/C, Neera Upadhaya A/C, SuhcIar Major rendra Kumar, SO’s. Mela, games & sports events were organized as a part of the programme. All family members of the officers and other ranks were also enjoyed the function. In the evening cultural programme was organized. The programme was iugurated by Hiren Chandra th, Commissioner of Police, Guwahati in the presence of Surjit Kumar Atri, Commandant 128 Bn of CRPF and other top officials. Colorful cultural programmes were also presented by jawans of the unit, in which Bihu and Bhangra were the main shows of the evening. At the end of the programme, trophies were distributed, followed by distribution of commendation certificate to various personnel of the Unit for their commendable services. The Commandant of 128 Bn. presented souvenirs to all dignitaries present in the evening, and conveyed his gratitude to guest for making the evening memorable.
