CRPF constructs toilets under Civic Action Programme

Dibrugarh, September 22: 171 Bn CRPF organized a Civic Action Programme, 2015-16 at Kacharibari Junior Basic School, Kacharibari, Mancotta in Dibrugarh in connection with handing over newly-constructed Water Purifier/RO system installation for drinking water and water storage system.

The programme was iugurated by Jagdish Prasad Panghal (Commandant-171 Bn CRPF) in the presence of Headmaster Hirendra th Gogoi, school teachers, students, NGOs, senior citizens and media personnel. Hirendra  th Gogoi,  while speaking at the occasion, appreciated the efforts of 171Bn CRPF for helping the school with drinking water and water storage system as the same was not available in the school yet.

Another Civic Action Programme 2015-16 was organized at Romari Kachari Primary School, Jamira in Dibrugarh (Assam) in connection with handing over newly-constructed two toilets, along with septic tank. The programme was also iugurated by Jagdish Prasad Panghal (Commandant-171 Bn CRPF), in the presence of Headmaster Numal Kanwar, school teachers, students, NGOs, senior citizens and Media personnel.

Jagdish Prasad Panghal, Commandant-171 Bn CRPF, during his speech stated that such programmes had been organized by the force under its social responsibility schemes where they identify the needy segment of the society in their area of operation.
