CRPF dotes water tank, urils in Goalpara

Goalpara,Feb 23: With a view to bridge the gap between civilians and security personnel and also to wipe away public sympathy for militants from the hearts of the people, the 152 Bnof Central Reserve Police Force has taken up various social works in the district.

On Thursday, the Goalpara office of the battalion fulfilled a long-time demand of Gobindapur area under Balija development block and handed over a newly-constructed water tank to the 245, Gobindapur LP School. The programme was attended by hundreds of people of the area. Mithilesh Kumar, Commandant, 152 battalion, participated in the programme.

On Wednesday, the 152 battalion handed over to the Baladmari Char ME School, one toilet and two urils constructed along with septic tank under the Civic Action Programme 2016-17. Mithilesh Kumar, Commandment, 152 Bn. CRPF, formally iugurated and handed over the sanitary building to the headmaster of the school. Yogender Dakhole, Deputy Commandant, MN Dixit, Assistant Commandant, GP president of Baladmari char and hundreds of people were present on the occasion. Mithilesh Kumar, in his speech, emphasized increasing coordition between CRPF and civilians for the greater interest of the society. “Together, we can solve burning issues like militancy,” he remarked.
