CRPF Inspector General visits Golaghat

GOLAGHAT, September 3 : The Inspector General, Central Reserve Police Force, (Ops) Sector, Jorhat Satpal Kapoor has carried out an inspection of 142 Bn CRPF HQ and its Coys  deployed at Golaghat recently.  

The Battalion Commandant Avish Sharan and other officers welcomed the IGP and gave the Guard of Honour at Quarter Guard. Further, the IGP called a meeting with Deputy Commissioner and Superintendent of Police of Golaghat and discussed the law-and-order situation, including present scerio of DAB area of Assam and galand border.

The IGP Kapoor also inspected the administration and operatiol aspect of sub-units of Battalion deployed at DAB and their basic amenities. The IGP directed the personnel of the Battalion to achieve professiolism by continuous training.
