
HOWRAGHAT: A job orientation coaching class was organized by the 20th Bn CRPF at Diphu on Friday, stated a press statement issued by the commandant of the 20th Bn CRPF, Diphu on Saturday evening.
The coaching classes started from October 23 and formally concluded on Friday. Retired Home Secretary, Government of Assam, Sh. S.Thiek graced the event as chief guest in presence of senior CRPF officers, public and students.
While addressing the gathering, S. Thiek spoke on the significance of police-public relationship and importance of youth for the nation. “The very basis of law and order in the society is public support, without the support of the public, no government can maintain law and order in the society,” added Thiek.
RD Jeany Anal, who is the commandant of 20th Bn CRPF, Diphu, also delivered speech on the main objective of the civic action programme. Highlighting job orientation he said that the programme would boost the job opportunities of educated unemployed youths.
