CRPF sub-inspector dies of stroke

JOYSAGAR, Oct 11: Uttam Sharma (54), a Sub-Inspector of CRPF 149 Unit died on Tuesday evening following high blood pressure stroke. He was on duty at Sori Town and was carrying out routine checking in the Sori-mtola road when suddenly he suffered from stroke and breathed his last when he was being taken to Sori Civil Hospital, sources said. Sharma hails from Odisha and he was on deputation in Assam. He leaves behind his mother, a son and two daughters.
