CS advises officers to keep abreast of judicial functions

Itagar, May 21: Aruchal Pradesh Chief Secretary, Shakuntala D. Gamlin has advised the Deputy Commissioners, Additiol Deputy Commissioners, Sub-Divisiol Officers and EAC/CO to keep abreast of the various judicial functions as they have to perform judicial functions despite separation of judiciary from executive.

She was addressing participants during the iugural day of a two-day long Skill Development Training Programme on ‘Judicial Functions’ for the Deputy Commissioners, Additiol Deputy Commissioners, Sub-Divisiol Officers and EAC/CO which commenced at ATI harlagun on Saturday. In all, 30 administrative officers from various districts are attending the Law & Judicial Department sponsored programme which aims at keeping the administrative officers abreast with the latest development in legal matters. Improvement in efficiency, timelines of courts and access to justice and user Friendly (Demand side) Enhancing Quality of court Planning & Magement (Supply Side) based on 10 point tiol Frame work for Court Excellence where also stressed upon. The Chief Secretary further informed that the central government has initiated many reforms which includes demonetization, information technology, Goods and Services Tax (GST) etc, and advised the administrators to implement the same in a transparent manner, a press release informed here today.
