mrup, Nov 6: The mrup Anchalik Chatra Santha (CS) staged a two-hour road blockade on Monday at mrup Dillighat road to demand repair of the dilapidated road portion of historical Dhodar Ali From mrup to Dillighat. The portion of the historical Dhodar Ali is deteriorating day- by-day due to lack of proper maintence for years, causing much inconvenience to people. Despite repeated pleas, allegedly no action hitherto has been taken by the authorities concerned. CS concluded the protest by submitting an ultimatum paper to the Chief Executive Engineer, PWD Dibrugarh, through the Circle Officer, harkatia for immediate repair of the PWD roads in mrup.
