CT scan, X-ray and pathological tests centre iugurated

DHUBRI, May 11: With the announcement of opening of 16 CT scan, X-ray and pathological service centre across 16 district of the State through the video conferencing, Dhubri Deputy Commissioner Dhiraj Choudhury formally iugurated the service  centre at Dhubri Civil Hospital on Thursday. This free of cost service centre will be opened in 12 more districts of the State within a couple of months. Speaking on the occasion, Dhubri Deputy Commissioner Dhiraj Choudhury hoped that these services  vital for accurate diagnosis of the diseases would be a great help to poverty stricken people and to a section who uble to bear the burden of CT-Scan, X-ray and pathological tests expenditure. A source in the service centre informed that nearly 60 types of blood tests could be done free of cost in the hospital and this service would remain open 24 hours for all the tests and services. Joint Director of Dhubri Health Services, Dr. Nilmadhab Das, Superintendent of Dhubri Civil Hospital, Dr. S Paul and a host of dignitaries were present during the iugural function.
