TAMULPUR, March 24: The BTC administration in collaboration with Jonogosthiyo Sankskritik Aikya Manch on organized a two-day cultural exchange programme at Tamulpur here on Wednesday and Thursday. The programme was iugurated by BTC executive member Deben Boro. Speaking on the occasion, Boro said that the BTC administration has taken steps to preserve language and culture of all cast and community by organizing various programme under BTC. He added that no cast and community can survive without their culture and language. Tamulpur Sub-Divisiol Officer (Civil) Kishan Kumar Sarma and other officials were also present at the event. Local cultural troops performed Bhortal nritya, mass moriya nritya of Sarania community, kherai nritya of Bodos, ga folk dance by troops of galand and Goalpariya nritya etc. A cultural rally was taken out on the second day of the programme. The cultural programme on Thursday was iugurated by BTC EM of Cultural department Banjar Daimary.
