Cultural NGO from Assam Aashwath organizes dance competition on World Dance Day

GUWAHATI: Aashwath, a cultural NGO from Assam has organized a series of classical & creative dance competitions in various districts of Assam from April 7 to April 29 on the occasion of World Dance Day, said Bijit Sarma, the publicity secretary of the event. Candidates for competitions of Bharatnatyam, Satriya Nritya, Kathak & creative dance may call now on 76360-50251 for further details. Kaustoov Moni Sharma, one of the main organisers of “Aashwath Nrityotsav” said that after the audition started in Guwahati on April 7, the first round dance audition at Mangaldai will be on April 14, at Nalbari on April 17, at Barpeta on April 19, at Nagaon on April 21, and the final round will be in Guwahati on April 29. The other organisers are Sukanya Deka & Elizi Ojha. Candidates from each and every corners of Assam are participating in this festival, stated a press release.
