Cultural programme to help flood and erosion victims

Bongaigaon, October 16:  To help the victims of recent flood and erosion, Urumi - a socio-cultural organization of Bongaigaon has organized a cultural evening in Bongaigaon on Saturday. Syamal rayan Dev, president of the organizing committee, said that the programme would start with flag hoisting at Bongaigaon ITI playground. “After that a procession will be taken out throughout the town and dotion will be collected for victims of flood and erosion. In the evening, a cultural night will be held at the ITI playground where several eminent artistes including Joy Barua and Priyanka Bharali will perform,” said Dev.
