Cultural rally in Morigaon as part of mami Brahmaputra Festival

MORIGAON, March 22: As per order of the State Government, for more participation of people in the mami Brahmaputra Festival which will be organized from March 31 to April 4 at the historic Mayong in Morigaon district, Morigaon district administration and Chatra Yuba Samittee, a unit of the committees of the festival, will organize a colourful cultural rally at Morigaon town on march 25: Deputy Commissioner Hemen Das and Atanu Sarma, coorditor of Chatra Yuba Sammittee, have appealed to the people of the district for cooperation. On the other hand, the rally will start from the Tarunram field and will move across the town. Total six colleges under Gauhati University (Morigaon College, Ghakanta Barua College, Jagiroad College, Mayong College, Charaibahi College and Moirabari College) with cultural teams will take part in the rally.
