Curfew in Baksa during night hours

LBARI, March 21: Indefinite curfew has been clamped in the northern part of Baksa district between 10 pm and 5 am by the district administration so that no sort of violence can take place during the night hours.

A prohibitory order under 144 CrPC has been issued in the entire Baksa district with immediate effect for smooth conduct of BTC election. No meeting, bike rally and cycle rally will be allowed without the permission of the district administration and liquor shops are not allowed to open after 5 pm. Baksa Deputy Commissioner Binod Seshan has appealed to all sections of people in the entire Baksa district to maintain peace and harmony during the ensuing BTC election.
