Curfew lifted from Hailakandi Sadar areas by District Magistrate Keerthi Jalli with immediate effect

Hailakandi: In view of marked improvement in law and order situation and requests from members of the public and organizations, the Hailakandi district administration has lifted curfew from Hailakandi Sadar areas with immediate effect. District Magistrate, Keerthi Jalli said the administration has suspended curfew imposed on May 10 last in Hailakandi Sadar areas following the improvement in the law and order situation and pleas from public and organisations so that they carry on their essential daily works. It may be mentioned that the administration had lifted curfew from other parts of the district barring Hailakandi Sadar areas on May 17 last.
