CVS vice president does good samaritan work

Silchar, Jan 22: Partha Sarathi Roy, vice president, All India Congress Vichardhara Sangathan (CVS), Assam, has been doing Samaritan work every year on the death anniversary of his mother, Late Sudha Sindhu Roy. He distributed edibles and fruits to the patients of Satindra Mohan Civil Hospital, Silchar, last Saturday on the occasion of 5th death anniversary of his mother.  Last year on his way back to India from Bangladesh, he fed a large number of hungry destitute people at railway station, Srimangal, Bangladesh. He also organized a free medical camp in the memory of his departed father and mother at Panchayat Road in the presence of the former MP and MLA.

Last year, in the month of October, Partha Sarathi Roy distributed crackers among 35 poor children in the fond memory of his father late Radhamadhab Roy and mother. He also distributed edible items among 475 children at Bhasha Shaheed Railway Station of this town. In addition to this, he also organized free medical camps.
