Cycle rally for spreading peace and harmony

KOKRAJHAR, April 30: The Sarva Seva Sangh (SSS), All India Sarvadaya Mandal and Gandhi Peace Foundation will organize a Shanti Sadbhaba Cycle Yatra for peace and harmony from May 2 to May 14 covering eight districts of Assam starting from Kokrajhar with an aim to spread the message of peace, amity, brotherhood, commul harmony among the people. At a press conference held at Kokrajhar Press Club, the secretary of Sarva Seva Sangh (All India Sarvadaya Mandal), Chandal Pal said that India was one and will remain one. He said that after eruption of violence in Bodoland in 2012, Gdhians from all over the country reached there for establishing peace and this work was going on for about three years. He said, “We have taken several steps and are working with various communities to bring back peace and understanding and we have received immense support and cooperation from local people.”
