Cyclist hit by speeding bus

JORHAT, Dec 8:  A speeding 609 bus bearing registration no. AS 03 DC-4762, which was carrying students from Kendriya Vidyalaya, NEIST, Jorhat to Lachit Maidam for educatiol tour, hit a cyclist near Malow while he was crossing the NH-37 Jorhat bypass under Pulibor Outpost on Wednesday.  He was injured seriously and succumbed to his injuries on the way to Jorhat Medical College and Hospital. He was identified as Tapan Kumar Dutta (62) from Choladhara, Jorhat.
