Dacoits Apprehended At Jaleshwar in Goalpara District

GUWAHATI: A dacoity incident at Ganesh Nagar in Basistha on March 1 was reported at Basistha police station, where a case (325/19 u/s 395) was registered. Police officials with the aid of Crime Branch performed a sting operation at Jaleshwar in Goalpara district on Wednesday night and arrested two people after tracking a stolen mobile. The accused Anwar Hussain, 37, and Sadek Ali, 36, have been taken into custody.
