Day of Simplicity observed

Golaghat, Jan 3: Furkating Junior College of Golaghat observed the Day of Simplicity on Saturday. The 55th birth anniversary of educationist and professor of Assamese of Gauhati University, Upen Rabha Hakasam is celebrated as the Day of Simplicity in the college. The event was organized by Furkating Junior College in association with Dago Rongchang Research Committee where a discussion session was held. In the session the Principal of Jorhat College, Dr Debabrat Sharma and Associate Professor of JB College, Jorhat, Dr Jyotirekha Saikia spoke on Assamese language and its simple application. Renowned scientist Dr Padmeswar Gogoi and veteran music composer Babul g were also felicitated.
