Daylight Looting of Cash And Gold Ornaments in Maligaon

GUWAHATI: Dacoity incidents have seen a sudden rise in the city raising red flags among the citizens. A daylight dacoity was committed at the residence of one Sunirmal Chakraborty in Ananda Nagar, Maligaon on Monday. Cash of Rs 35 thousand, gold ornaments worth Rs 1.5 lakh, 2 cell phones, along with various valuables were forcedly taken away. A case has been registered at Jalukbari police station as further investigation is being made into the matter.
