DC reviews progress works at DDC meeting

SIVASAGAR, April 9: A meeting of District Development Committee (DDC) Sivasagar was held with Sivasagar Deputy Commissioner Pallav Gopal Jha in the chair on Monday. In the meeting, which was held at the Syukapha Conference Hall of the DC’s office, the Deputy Commissioner reviewed the progress of the schemes being implemented by various departments in the district. Jha asked all departments to complete projects being taken up by them on time and to have healthy completion while maintaining quality work.

 Jha asked the executive engineer of PWD (roads) to complete all repair works of the roads in Sivasagar district with special emphasis on Gohain Baruah Ali, Dubarani Ali, zira-Sivasagar connecting road, Romoni Ali, Sepon-Sunpura connecting road. He also asked the social welfare department to take immediate steps for distribution of aids and appliances among the Divyangs of the district which remained undistributed after distribution by ALIMCO and others.
