DC Rituraj Bora takes stock of preparation for Srimanta Sankardev Sangha's session

MORIGAON: As the 88th session of the socio-cultural organization Srimanta Sankardev Sangha is round the corner, the district administration and the reception committee of Srimanta Sankardev Sangha have jointly geared up to make the session a grand success at the Rasaraj Lakhsminath Bezbarua Samanwai Khetra in the district.

The 88th session of the Srimanta Sankardev Sangha will commence from February 6 and will conclude on February 9. Deputy Commissioner Rituraj Bora and Superintendent of Police Swapnaneel Deka on Tuesday took stock of the progress of power supply, construction of sites for devotees to stay and three helipads.

Babul Bora, secretary of the reception committee, said, "The three helipads will be set up near the main mandap so that the Prime Minister can enter easily. We have received 70 per cent of the total estimated fund."
