DDK’s silver jubilee celebration concludes

Dibrugarh, July 14: The Dibrugarh Doordarshan Kendra (DDK) has successfully completed 25 years of rendering glorious services, defeating all hiccups coming on its journey since May 31, 1993. The Kendra, which initially started with 15 minutes transmission, in the passage of time has been increasing transmission to 3 hours 30 minutes from 3 PM to 6.30 PM each day with quality programmes like music, culture, infotainment, agriculture, health, education, literature, sports, and social harmony, besides covering all fields of common people’s interest. The closing ceremony of the Kendra’s silver jubilee celebration is slated to be held on July 16 with a cultural and valedictory function at the District Library Auditorium.
