Debasish Khargharia and his wife continue to elude police

JOYSAGAR, July 9: Nine days after the shocking suicide of artiste couple Rajani Khargharia (62) and Rubi Khargharia (58), Sivasagar Police are yet to trace Debasish Khargharia and Gitashree, son and daughter-in-law of the couple. The bodies of the elderly couple were recovered by their neighbours at their rented house in AT Road on July 1. Both Debasish and Gitashree are allegedly responsible for the death of the couple.

Sivasagar Police have launched many search operations in entire Upper Assam to nab the accused persons but have not succeeded. Sivasagar Superintendent of Police, SK Sonowal has asked people to provide information, if any, to nab the accused persons and to conduct proper investigation into this sensational suicide case.
