Delhi University Colleges centralized cut-off-list to be released on its official website

New Delhi: The Delhi University colleges which have announced the first cut-off lists includes colleges like Kirori Mal College, Bhagini Nivedita College, Dyal Singh, Satyavati College and Shivaji College etc, however, the Delhi University is expected to release the centralized cut-off list by tomorrow i.e June 28, 2019 on its official website at du.ac.in.

Several colleges affiliated to the Delhi University (DU) have released their first cut-off lists for admissions to various undergraduate (UG) courses.

As per reports, most sought after colleges like Hindu, Ramjas, SRCC, LSR, Hansraj and Miranda House are also expected to release their cut-off lists today.

The cut-off lists announced today have been announced by the respective colleges.

Document verification, approval of admission and payment of fee for first cut-off list based admission will be done from June 28 to July 1 (except Sunday).

North-campus based St. Stephens College released its first cut-off two days earlier.

Kirori Mal College has announced a cut-off of above 97 per cent for admissions to popular courses like BA English (Hons.), BA Economics (Hons.) and B.Com (Hons.).

Reports also claim that this year, the DU cut-off percentage is unlikely to dip for most popular courses. In fact, the cut-off is expected to rise by 0.5 to 1 percentage points.

Students can also log on to the official websites of the colleges affiliated with DU to check the cut off list.

The admission process based on it will commence from tomorrow and will conclude on 1 July, 2019.

Students who couldn’t make it to the university through the first list can wait for it release the second cut off list, which is expected to be announced on 4 July, 2019. The University will release its third, fourth and fifth list according to the availability of the seats, a media reports.

This year for admission to BSc (Hons) Chemistry at St Stephens College, the cut-off is likely to be around 96.33 percent for general category students while it's 96.66 percent for BSc (Hons) Physics. For the students of BSc programme with Chemistry, the cut off is 95 percent and for BSc programme with computer science, it is set at 96.6 percent.

In BA (Hons) History the cut-off for commerce students is 98.5 percent, for arts it will be around 97.25 percent and science students 98.5 percent.

Ram Lal Anand College has also released its first cut off list where for BA programme students the cut off this year is 90 percent and for BCom it's 95 percent.

It is to be noted that Delhi University is among the biggest universities in India. It was set up in 1922 and has 77 affiliated colleges and five other institutions spread across the city.
