Demise of reputed businessman Sudhir Krishna Paul of Dhubri condoled

DHUBRI: Sudhir Krishna Paul, son of Bishnu Pada Paul and Thakurpukur Rani Paul, and a resident of ward no. 13 (Shantinagar) of Dhubri town, breathed his last at his Bhawanipur residence in Kolkata on March 17. He was 73 and leaves behind his wife, two sons and a host of family members, employees and well-wishers. He had been undergoing treatment for kidney ailment for the last four years in Kolkata.

He was popularly known as Badal Paul and he had inherited a business empire from his father. He, along with his brothers, expanded the trade and business in Assam and Bengal simultaneously for over four-and-half decades. He was Managing Director of Assam Biri Factory Pvt. Ltd established by his father and a senior partner of Sri Bishnu Carrier, Dhubri Sales Agency, Bishnu Talkies, and the Assam Automobile Workshop. He was visionary businessman and took the entire empire to a new horizon by his dint of dedication and acumen. He also associated with many welfare, socio-cultural and sports organizations of Dhubri. He was also the life member of Town Club and Kalibari of Dhubri. His death was widely mourned.
