‘Demonetization has failed to prevent use of black money’

Biswath Chariali, Feb 23:A Ja Beda Sabha was held on Thursday in the premises of Biswath weekly market here under the aegis of Biswath Block and Biswath Municipality Congress.

Taking part in the meeting as the chief guest, Ripun Borah, Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) president and Rajya Sabha MP, made a sharp attack on the rendra Modi-led BJP government at the Centre. He said that the demonetization policy of the government had harassed the common people extremely and it had failed to prevent the use of black money in the country. The meeting was also addressed by Congress leader Apurba Bhattacharya, while former Biswath Municipality chairman Dilip Kumar Baruah, and Deepak Das were also present on the occasion.
