Dempo beat Lajong Juniors

SHILLONG, May 1: Dempo Sports Club beat Shillong Lajong Academy Colts by 2-1 today in the U-13 Youth League Final Round match at Howrah Stadium in Kolkata.  The two goals for Dempo came from an own goal by Lajong Junior Mangkara Sambor Sun in the 27th minute while Dwayne Pereira Neto netted the winner in the 62th minute.  Hamedamanbha Wahlang scored the solitary goal in the 52th minute for the Junior Reds.

Lajong Academy Colts will play their next match against Mohammedan Sporting Club on Thursday.
